Cook Sparks New Hampton Win

Mike Cook hit a three-pointer with 25 seconds remaining to give New Hampton an 82-80 victory in the championship game of the Brewster Academy Invitational, according to Brewster head coach Jason Smith.
Cook led all scorers with 37 points. What was amazing about Cook's game was he dropped in six three-pointers.

Cook, a 6-3 swingman, has been outstanding so far this season. Cook is a strong driver and finisher who gets to the free throw line quite a bit. Equally important, he hits the glass hard on both ends of the floor.
The Philadelphia native, who took official visits this fall to Rhode Island and East Carolina, is one of the top unsigned prospects here at the War on the Shore. In addition to URI and ECU, Cook told Rivalshoops.com that he is also hearing from Marquette, Memphis and Oklahoma this fall.
