Brown was named to the Chicago Tribune's Public Red West All-Conference Team as a junior.
The Chicago tribune reported that Rome Sanders, a 6-7 center from Curie High School in Chicago, IL, committed to Northern Illinois. This is the first announced commitment to the Huskies for first year head coach Rob Judson. Judson took the NIU job after five years at Illinois as Lon Kruger's and Bill Self's top recruiter.
