COLUMBIA - A commitment date is set for top-50 wing Khavon Moore as he will make his college decision on his senior night, January 26. While no final list has been solidified up until this point, Moore did say that he has plans on taking official visits to four college programs before making his decision.
Valued for his versatility in the backcourt but gifted with quality length, ball skills and two-way abilities, Moore updated where things stand within his recruitment. “It is going well. As of now, I am narrowing down my final visits to Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas Tech, and Ohio State. I think I want to commit on my senior night which is January 26,” he said. “Each school, I have really good relationship with the coaches and I like the way that they play.”
Moore has taken one official visit to date, a trip that took place to Florida the first weekend of September. The Gators are no longer in contention as he has begun to focus on Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas Tech and Ohio State.
Look for a college commitment on January 26 with any of the four celebrating the services of their next playmaker, a prospect that can defend more than one position and also hold his own as a scorer at the basket.
