Combo Guard Has Six At Top

Ray George, a 6-4, 180 pound combo guard from Coastal Christian Academy in Virginia Beach, Va., has turned in some fine performances this spring.

A guard blessed with good size, George is primarily a scorer, but he has the handle to possibly make the transition to the one slot at the high Division I level.

George told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he is considering St. John's, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Memphis, Florida and Georgia.

A native of Decatur, Ga., George has already unofficially visited Georgia. George has a busy summer ahead which should include pit stops at the NBA Players Association Camp and the Nike All-American Camp. He's not sure if he'll play in June with Linzy Davis' Team Georgia Elite squad or J.O. Stright's Pittsburgh JOTS squad.
