Combo Forward Likes Five

CHAPEL HILL, NORTH CAROLINA -- Chris Low, a 6-9, 210-pound combo forward from Gorman High School in Tyler, Texas, has shown he can play among the best competition during the AAU sessions. Low, who competed with Team Texas Elite this past weekend at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, showed a sweet touch from the outside and a good feel for the game.
Low averaged 24 points and 15 rebounds last season as a junior. "I am working on my ballhandling and shooting," Low said. "I want to add strength too."

If Low adds some strength to his upper frame, he will be an even more effective player on the offensive end and on the boards. Team Texas Elite lost in the quarterfinals to a talented team from the West Coast, SC All Stars, on a last second shot. "I think we will be at the Rumble in the Bronx in a couple of weeks," Low said.
Low told us that SMU, TCU, Baylor, Texas, and Colorado State are the schools he is most interested in. "I am wide open," Low said. "I am still talking to schools. I don't have any problem going away from home too."
