Coly Has A Top Three

Boubacar Coly, a 6-8, 230 pound junior power forward from the Laurinburg Institute in Laurinburg, N.C., has a number of high majors looking at him this spring.
Many colleges became familiar with Coly last summer on the adidas circuit, where he played with Wallace Prather's Atlanta Celtics program.

Laurinburg Head Coach Chris Chaney told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that Mississippi, Wake Forest and Maryland are the early top three for Coly. Other programs in the mix include LaSalle, George Washington and St. Bonaventure.
"He is going to have a lot of looks," Chaney said. "He had a good year for us, considering it was his first year of really playing. He's very active and athletic and plays the game hard, so I think he's only going to get better."
A native of Africa, Coly is expected to attend the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey this July, and then tour the travel team circuit with the Celtics again this spring and summer.
He is one of the many players in the Class of 2003 that we will be keeping an eye on in the coming weeks and months, so keep it here for the most comprehensive recruiting coverage on the internet.
