Colorado signee to reclassify

Colorado's eight man recruiting class for 2006 is down to seven. Small forward Dale Vanwright of Houston, Texas has decided to reclassify to 2007 and spend next season at Cornerstone Christian School in San Antonio.
Vanwright attained qualifying test scores last month, but he and his family feel it is in his best interest to reclassify. As of now, Vanwright is still bound by his letter-of-intent that he signed with Colorado last fall.

"There is a possibility that Dale could seek a release from Colorado and reopen his recruitment, but those decisions have not been made at this time," said Vanwright's father Dale Vanwright Sr. "That decision will be made in the near future, but as for now, Dale will be considered a 2007 recruit and will play summer ball for Houston Elite and continue working out with John Lucas."
Vanwright, who was ranked the No. 14 prospect in Texas, also had offers from Baylor, Texas A&M, SMU and TCU before signing with Colorado.
