Colorado scores with Tomlinson

A trip to the Rocky Mountains helped solidify Nate Tomlinson's decision to play in the Big 12. The three-star point guard from Lee Academy (Maine) is taking his game to Colorado.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Australian visited the Big 12 school and liked what he saw there, according to Lee Academy headmaster Bruce Lindberg.

"After his visit out there, he felt like it was the perfect fit for him," Lindberg said.
Tomlinson makes perfect sense for new Colorado head coach Jeff Bzdelik. Tomlinson is a big guard that is efficient with the ball and crafty in the half court. Tomlinson also considered UNLV and St. Louis.
"(Nate) really liked it out there and saw the team practice and liked the way the team played," Lindberg said. "He said he thinks their style of play fits him very well.
"Coach Bzdelik had been out here two times and an assistant coach had been out here two times. I think that showed (Nate) that they had legitimate interest in him."
