Colorado picks up pair of in-state juniors

It's been a busy weekend for Tad Boyle and his staff when it comes to recruiting Colorado's high school class of 2012. After picking up a verbal commitment from Josh Scott on Thursday, the Buffaloes added Wesley Gordon on Sunday.
Gordon is a long and athletic 6-foot-7 combo forward from Colorado Springs (Colo.) Sierra. Although he hasn't played much summer ball, his reputation swelled in state and Colorado used the momentum gained during Boyle's first season to make a move.

"I committed to CU last night when I was in Boulder for an unofficial visit," Gordon told Rivals.com network site BuffStampede.com. "They have shown a lot of interest in me, so I decided to go there. I have always liked CU."
Gordon will join another Colorado Springs product in Lewis Palmer power forward Josh Scott.
Scott, is a long 6-foot-8 four man who runs the floor, is a good athlete and has some skill facing the basket.
While neither Gordon or Scott has gotten much exposure nationally, they are both expected to hit the grassroots circuit some this spring. Gordon is expected to play with the Colorado Hawks while Scott will play with the Colorado Chaos.
