Colorado lands a post player
With four other commitments from guards and forwards, Colorado landed a post player this week.
Sean Kowal, a 6-foot-10, 240-pound center from DeSmet High School in St. Louis, Mo., is headed to the high country.
"Besides the unbelievable weather, the great people at Colorado are the main reason I'm going there," said Kowal. "I've met a lot of coaches and players, but I've never met ones as positive as at Colorado. Everyone gets along. It's just a whole different atmosphere out there."
Kowal also took unofficial visits to Xavier, Missouri and Ball State, but when it came down to making his decision, he chose Colorado over Albany, Austin Peay, Ball State and St. Louis.
The fifth commitment of what is turning out to be a solid recruiting class for Colorado, Kowal joins
Dwight Thorne,
Xavier Silas,
Dale Vanwright and
Jeremy Williams as 2006 Colorado commitments.
