Coleman Will Get Release

Dan Coleman, a 6-foot-9, 215-pound forward from Hopkins High School in Minnesota, will receive his release from the Boston College Eagles basketball program, according to a source. A source close to Coleman indicated that Dan will have the release shortly.
Coleman, who signed a letter of intent with Al Skinner's program last Fall, was going to be counted on to help the Eagles out as a freshman for the 2003-2004 season.

Coleman has nice skills for a big man. He has a soft touch but needed to get stronger as do most big men on the high school level. However, Coleman does possess enough skills to be an effective player. He has the ability to drop in jumpers from the perimeter.
It's likely that Coleman will stay close to home. Minnesota could be a logical choice for Coleman.
