Coco Is Solid Defender

Coco Cofield, a solid 6-1, 180 pound point guard from Hutchinson C.C. in Hutchinson, Kan., has some Division I programs looking at him this winter.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Hutchinson Asst. Coach Eric Duft at the recent Region VI Tournament in Salina, Kan., and he informed us that Marist, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Middle Tennessee State and George Washington are looking at Cofield.

A native of College Park, Ga., Cofield is not a scorer. He is more known for his distribution and defense, since the Blue Dragons featured several other more potent offensive performers this season.
Hutchinson was eliminated from the Region VI Semifinals last Tuesday by Seward County C.C. As a result, Cofield could start to take some official visits in the coming weeks as the spring signing period approaches.
A good student, Cofield is expected to graduate in the spring, Duft said. JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops will keep you posted on Cofield, so stay tuned.
