Coaches checking in on New Hampton Prep

Since he took over the reigns at New Hampton (N.H.) Prep, head coach Pete Hutchens has steadily added to the Huskies talent level. His 2011-12 squad recently started workouts and they've had plenty of visitors.
During the Huskies first workout of the season on Thursday night, coaches from Purdue, Boston College, New Hampshire, Pittsburgh, Columbia, St. John's, Maine and Northeastern.

Sunday, Hutchens and his crew entertained Virginia head coach Tony Bennett and assistant Ron Sanchez along with Princeton head coach Sydney Johnson and Kansas assistant Joe Dooley.
So far, the main draws appear to be a pair of 2012 prospects, Zach Auguste and Olivier Hanlan.
Auguste, is a 6-foot-9 big man who can run and has a good looking shot to 17 feet. He made his way onto program's radars this summer with his play for Mass Rivals.
Hanlan, a Canadian import, is a shifty and clever 6-foot-1 point guard.
Rivals.com will evaluate Auguste, Hanlan and the entire New Hampton squad at the National Prep Showcase in New Haven, Conn. in November.
