Clyde Wade Improving Stock

Clyde Wade, a 6-0 combo guard from The Winchendon School in Massachusetts, is picking up his play over the last month, according to head coach Mike Byrnes. "He has done a nice job for us over the past several games," Byrnes said. "I think he can play division one basketball if given the chance."
Byrnes told us that Wade has some interest from Towson, Wagner, Fairfield, and Davidson. Wade happens to be a very good student. He possesses a 3.8 GPA but wants to raise his ACT score above a 20 to see if he could garner some interest from the academic heavyweights such as a Davidson.
"He is going to take the test again," Byrnes said. "He took it early on in high school and got the qualifying score right off the bat. So he never re-took the test. But he can improve the school and maybe open up some more doors for himself recruiting wise."
