Cliff Brown Has Some Nice Upside

HEMPSTEAD, NEW YORK -- Cliff Brown, a 6-7, 185 pound forward from Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Michigan is a player to monitor this summer. He appears to have some good skills and works very hard.
"I get up at 7 AM every morning and shoot jumpers," Brown told us last night at the Three Stripe Classic on Long Island. "I then lift weights and shoot jumpers later on in the day. I play a lot of basketball."

Brown, who played well at the ABCD camp in New Jersey, told us that Michigan State called him while he was there. "I am also hearing from Ohio State, Iowa State, Boston College, Wichita State, Central Florida, and Villanova," Brown said. "I am very wide open. I won't narrow the list down until after the summer."
Brown started to progress offensively when he stepped out more with his high school team. "I played a lot inside since I was playing center with my team," Brown said. "I start out that way trying to fake out my defender. Then I go outside and shoot the jumper."
We will keep you monitored on his progress at this tournament.
