Clemons Makes Decision

Ricky Clemons, a 5-11, 175 pound point guard from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Id., has committed to Missouri, according to Jay Cyriac, an assistant coach at CSI.
Sources tell us however that Florida State, under new head coach Leonard Hamilton, is making a late push for Clemson. Clemons enjoyed a terrific season for the Golden Eagles in 2001-2002.

Clemons was sent home from CSI earlier this month and is completing his degree work via correspondence. So he still has to earn his associates degree before moving on to Missouri or any other division one school.
Clemons put up 50 points in a game earlier this year. He is an exciting player who loves to push tempo and make things happen, although he can get out of control at times.
Previously, Clemons had earlier recruiting interest from Louisville, Minnesota, San Diego State, Missouri, South Carolina and N.C. State.
A native of Raleigh, N.C., Clemons averages 18.9 points, eight assists and 3.4 steals per game.
