Clemente Sets Dade Co. Scoring Mark
Denis Clemente, a 6-foot-1 scoring point guard from Calusa Prep School in Miami, recently set the Dade County single game scoring mark with a 50 point performance.
Clemente, a 2005 prospect originally from Puerto Rico, is averaging 34 points per game for 7-1 Calusa Prep.

This past weekend Clemente made the all tournament team and led all scorers with 29.3 points per game in the 1st Annual Zoned Out Shootout.
“Denis is a prolific scorer,” said Coach Art Alvarez of Clemente’s summer team the Miami Tropics. “He can really handle and is a great shooter off the dribble."
Coach Alvarez cited Florida State, Florida, Miami, Clemson, Memphis, Northeastern, and Georgia Tech as schools that are recruiting Clemente.
