Clarke Goes To Conference USA

Darren Clarke, a 6-4, 200-pound combo guard from Hopkins High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, committed to St. Louis, according to Clarke's family. RivalsHoops.com spoke to Darren's mom today and she said her son made the decision yesterday.
Clarke, who played for the Howard Pulley Blue team at the Showcase in Orlando, Florida, in late July, played well in helping his team advance to the quarterfinals of the Showcase before losing to the Georgia Elite in double overtime.

Clarke had some solid moments for Pulley. He showed range on his jumper but will need to establish more consistency from long range.
Clarke told us in July he had also some serious interest in Illinois, Marquette, and Wisconsin. But these schools eventually grabbed other players and were not a factor at the end of Darren's recruiting process.
Clarke, who averaged 20 points, six assists, and five rebounds last year as a junior, told us he isn't sure when he will decide.
