Clark looking at all options

Arkansas big man Andre Clark is looking for two things these days. The 6-foot-9 forward awaits word on his ACT results and he's wondering where he will call home next year. The three-star big man is one of the most coveted players in the country at the moment and he could be one of the last important gets in the class of 2007.
Clark, a North Little Rock (Ark.) High School product, said he is waiting for his ACT score. He said he needs to improve three points in order to know the fate of his future. Results should come in any day, Clark said.

"That's it. That's the thing that will determine if I go 2007 or if I go take a prep year," Clark said. "That's the only thing."
Waiting for the results has not kept him from looking at his options. Clark is currently on Indiana's campus for a visit. The late-bloomer has also visited Colorado officially and Baylor unofficially. Clark said he came away impressed with the Buffaloes.
"I really like what I saw at Colorado. I like the coaching staff and I like what they have to offer there," he said. "That might just be the possibility of where I go. If there is another door that opens, then I'll definitely look at them for a visit."
The trio of schools isn't alone. Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Florida State, Miami, West Virginia and Cincinnati have all tried to get involved for 2007. Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky and Arizona said they would recruit him in 2008. With all of the sudden interest, Clark said he has some serious decisions to make in the near future.
"I'm still undecided. Even if I do get the score, I'm still going to have to look at my options," he said. "I might still prep if I feel like I need to develop more. There is a strong possibility that I do go 2007 if I can find a school that I feel like I can go in and play and make an impact.
"I know I don't have a lot of time so my decision should come really quick. I would like to get into some summer school classes if I do go 2007…I definitely want to visit the school that I go to first."
Clark mentioned Hargrave Military (Va.), Patterson School (N.C.) and Genesis One (Miss.) as potential prep school options if he opts for that route.
For now, Clark is waiting and trying to educate himself on the schools looking at him until his ACT score arrives.
