Cincy lands juco forward
Cincinnati might not have landed Tyler Smith, but Coach Cronin did land 6-foot-7, 245-pound forward Marcus Sikes of Mt. San Jacinto (calif.) Junior College.
Cincinnati beat out Minnesota in a tight race for Sikes.

"They both had a lot to offer and were great opportunities," Sikes told Marcus Fuller of the Pioneer Press. "It just came down to where I felt most comfortable."
Originally from Richmond, Va., and a product of Notre Dame Academy, Sikes averaged 13 points and 11 rebounds per game this season as a sophomore.
Sikes, who once was a Georgia Bulldog, joins Deonta Vaughn as recent additions to Coach Cronin's first recruiting class.
