Chuck Davis Selects Alabama
Chucky Davis, a long armed 6-8, 210 pound power forward from Southside H.S. in Selma, Ala., committed to Alabama, according to the Alliance Alabama site (alabama.rivals.com).
Davis also considered Auburn, LSU, and Alabama Birmingham at one time during his recruiting process.

Davis averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks as a junior last season. He carries a 3.7 GPA and scored a 21 on the ACT.
Davis played with Kenny Harris' Alabama Ice program this past summer. He kicked off the summer at the adidas ABCD Camp and also attended the AAU Super Showcase and the AAU Nationals in Florida later in July.
Davis is a deceptive player in that it often appears he is not playing a full tilt and does not jump out of the gym. Chucky uses his long arms and nimble foot work to create second and third chance scoring opportunities in the paint for his team, which he did quite consistently at the ABCD Camp in July.
