Christopher looking forward to taking visits

Now that the summer AAU circuit is over, Patrick Christopher is looking forward to taking some official visits in the fall. While the No. 38 ranked player in the class of 2006 is wide-open at this time, Christopher indicated that several schools in particular have moved up his list.
"I am really wide-open right now, but California, Washington, USC, Texas, Indiana, Miami and Kentucky are the schools recruiting me the hardest at this time," said Christopher. "Texas just offered me a scholarship last week, so that is something that I am excited about. I plan to take some official visits in the fall, and then make a decision after that."

Aside from the aforementioned programs, Christopher, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound shooting guard from Dominguez High School in Lakewood, Calif., is also receiving interest from the likes of Arizona, California, Kansas and several others.
While Christopher has not made any final decisions about what schools to visit in the fall, the No. 9 ranked shooting guard in the class has a good feel for what schools he could possibly visit.
"Washington, Texas and Kentucky are the schools that I will probably visit for sure," said Christopher. "I really have not made any plans yet, but those are the schools that I would definitely like to visit once school starts.
"I didn't really get to enjoy the recruiting process the first time around, so that is something I want to do this time," he added. "I committed to California so early and didn't get to take any visits. That is why I have decided to take as many visits as possible this time, and then make the best decision I possibly can."
