Christopher back with California

As his stock began to rise during the AAU circuit, Patrick Christopher opened his recruitment back up after a winter commitment to California. After testing the waters and even visiting Texas recently, the 6-foot-4, 192-pound shooting guard from Dominguez High School in Compton, Calif., has decided to recommit to the Golden Bears' program.
"I committed to California last night," said Christopher, the No. 38 ranked prospect in the Rivals150. "I really appreciate their dedication to me. They were the first to recruit me, and that means a lot.

"The two spot will be open when I am a freshman, so I'll have a chance to make an immediate impact. I'm really looking forward to going to Cal and competing for a Pac-10 championship."
Although his aspirations are eventually to play in the NBA, Christopher is very happy about having a degree from such a strong academic school as California.
"I want to major in Communications, and Cal has a great Communications Program," he said. "If the NBA doesn't work out, I can't go wrong with a degree from Cal."
Christopher, who averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game as a junior, has a 6-foot-9 wing span, a smooth shooting stroke and a quick jump off the floor. He does have room to improve his ball handling and lateral quickness.
