Taft plays for the Brooklyn Bridge AAU program. This is one of the best AAU programs in the New York City area. Taft has progressed nicely over the past year in his overall game. He has the smarts and the skills to play the post and power forward slots right now.
Taft has some nice low post moves. He can ball fake you and take the short jumper in the lane. He also runs the break nicely.
One of the rising stars among post players in the class of 2003, Taft brings a sturdy frame and a budding offensive repertoire to Xaverian's front court. Chris is one of the more talented rising juniors in the country.
Taft will need to grow into his body. He is thin right now but he could add about 25-30 pounds to his frame and be able to post up players more effectively.
