Chris Low Picks Arizona State
Chris Low, a 6-9, 210-pound combo forward from Gorman High School in Tyler, Texas, committed to Arizona State today, according to Chris' family. "That's what he did today," said Chris' mom.
Low had taken official visits to Indiana, Arizona State and SMU. Low previously told us he had an offer from TCU. Chris also indicated he was speaking to Virginia and Western Kentucky. But Virginia did not offer and was pursuing other forwards such as Sheray Thomas and Luol Deng.

Low proved during the spring and summer he can play among the best competition during the AAU sessions. Low, who competed with Team Texas Elite this spring and summer first showed us his skills at the Rumble in the Bronx last June.
He followed that up with a solid performance at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. He has a sweet touch from the outside and a good feel for the game. Low averaged 24 points and 15 rebounds last season as a junior.
