Chris Hunter: Six Top Schools

Chris Hunter, a center/power forward from West Side High School in Gary, Indiana, told us he is now considering Michigan, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Ohio State, and Seton Hall.
"I plan on using my visits in September," Hunter said. "Though I have not decided when I will do that."

Hunter said his phone has been ringing more. It's understandable. Hunter had a terrific second half of July. He showed much more confidence in his offensive game. He was always a good shotblocker. Now with the combination, he is a highly regarded recruit.
"I am probably going to visit Illinois, Georgia Tech, Michigan, and Seton Hall," Hunter said. "I already know a lot about Indiana."
Hunter said each of these schools has offered him a scholarship.
Hunter showed some more confidence in his offensive game over the past two weeks, especially at the AAU Showcase and National AAU tournament inside the Wide World of Sports Complex on the Disney grounds. Hunter has pretty good skills for a big man, including the ability to put the ball on the floor and draw contact. On top of that, he's ultra mobile and is very quick from North to South.
As a junior, Hunter averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and three blocks as a junior at Westside.
