The tournament has a handful of signed seniors including the hot shooting Devan Downey, who will play at Cincinnati next year, Auburn bound Joey Cameron, Florida State recruit Casaan Breeden, Wake Forest signed David Weaver and Old Dominion recruit Jonathan Adams.
Downey has been one of the hottest players in the nation. The 5-foot-9 point guard is averaging over 42 points a game and recently went over the 2,000 point mark.
Cameron and his Leeds (Ala.) team have a deep roster with four college prospects. Cord Robbins, a 6-foot-3 unsigned senior combo guard and Joey Taylor, 6-foot-8, 220-pound junior power forward are also players to watch.
Leeds will play Lower Richland (S.C.) on Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. Lower Richland is led by unsigned senior guard Jeremiah Richardson and Mike Jones, the No. 55 ranked junior in the country.
Also on Dec. 18, I.C. Norcom of Virginia will play Aiken (S.C.) at 6:20. Norcom is led by Vernon Macklin, a 6-foot-9 forward and also a national top junior ten prospect. He's joined by sharp-shooter Ben Finney. Aiken is led by talented sophomore Marshall Moses.
