Charlie Villanueva Hurts Ankle

If things weren't tough enough for Blair Academy, they certainly got more difficult on Saturday night during the Bucs' 67-59 victory over St. Benedict's.
Blair, which is still without the services of versatile 6-8 forward/guard Luol Deng, could be without 6-9 forward Charlie Villanueva in some upcoming games.

Villanueva rolled his ankle early in the third quarter of the game after landing awkwardly on the hardwood.
According to Blair Head Coach Joe Mantegna, Villanueva had x-rays on Sunday, and the school's orthopedist will examine those on Monday evening.
As a result, Mantegna said he does not expect to know the full extend of Villanueva's injury until Monday night or Tuesday at the earliest.
After going down with the injury, Blair's team trainer packed the ankle in ice and it swelled up quite a bit. Villanueva was wincing noticeably in pain on the sidelines throughout the second half.
Mantegna said that Villanueva had injured the same ankle this summer while playing for the Long Island Panthers program.
Rivalshoops.com will keep you informed on Villanueva's status, so keep it here for the latest information.
