Charles Lee Picks Bucknell
Charles Lee, Jr., a 6-5, 208 pound swingman from Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, MD, has given a verbal commitment to Bucknell, according to his father.
He took an official visit to Bucknell over the October 19th weekend and told the school of his decision this past weekend, Mr. Lee said. He also was recruited by Colgate, which he visited over the November 2nd weekend, Air Force, Central Florida, Lafayette, Princeton and Wagner. He has requested an early admission decision from Bucknell, one of the Patriot League schools that does not award athletic scholarships.
Lee can handle four positions, from lead guard to power forward. He competed for the winning age 16 team at the Boo Williams Invitational and received all-star honors at the Five Star camp he attended this summer in the Pittsburgh area.
Lee has a 3.4 GPA. This young man exemplies the type of student-athlete the Patriot League depends on.
