Charles Bass Thinking About His Trips

Charles Bass, a 6-9, 200-pound forward from Crete-Monee High School is Illinois, told us he had a good trip to Minnesota this past weekend. He has also taken an official visit to George Washington.
Bass told us: "I like both towns," Bass said. "The White House is six blocks away from the George Washington campus. And I got a chance to walk around Minneapolis. They were both very nice. The weather was a little cold and rainy in Minneapolis. But that won't decide my recruiting."

Bass said he is at the reflection part of his process. "I am at halftime," Bass said. "I have to think about whether I will take my final three visits."
The final three visits were to be at Ohio State, West Virginia, and Colorado. "I have already seen Ohio State unofficially," Bass said. "So I have a good idea on what they are all about. I will take a week to think about this."
Bass saw his stock rise after he had a solid summer. Bass performed at the AAU Showcase and the National AAU tournament in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. "I felt very confident in my game," Bass said. "I felt with our team it was a different guy every game that we went to for a big game."
And Bass had his share. A lefty, Bass is very agile and slick along the baseline. He is thin. His body will probably fill out another 10-15 pounds and he would not lose any of his fluid motion. Bass has a nice touch from the outside too. Despite his thin frame, he handled himself smoothly in the low post.
