Changes for Christopher

It is a time of changes for Patrick Christopher, the No. 33 ranked player in the Rivals150. Christopher, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound shooting guard and former California commitment, has both reopened his recruitment and transferred to Compton Dominguez (Calif.) High School.
"I'm opening my recruiting process back up," said Christopher. "I just feel that I rushed to a decision.

"My mom really wanted me to commit to California, but she didn't really understand the recruiting process."
Now Christopher, who has played very well this spring, is working with a short list of five schools including California.
"Along with California, I like Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky and Texas," he said. "I've already visited California and will more than likely visit the other schools.
"Texas, Arizona and Kansas were showing quite a bit of interest before I verbally committed but backed off afterwards. Kentucky has yet to show interest."
As Christopher takes his time now with his recruiting process, he will searching for a coach that can help him become a NBA player.
"I'm looking for a school with a good basketball and academic program," he said. "I also want to make an immediate impact, and I want to play for a coach that can develop me into a NBA caliber player."
As a junior last year at Mayfair High School, Christopher averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
