Changes for Carter

Elijah Carter is playing the best basketball of his life, and the 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard is making some changes.
Carter, who starred at Jersey City (N.J.) St. Anthony High School, will spend next year in prep school and is no longer committed to St. Bonaventure.

"My parents and me just think I need a year to mature as a player and person," said Carter.
Carter will have plenty of other schools coming after him, but as of now St. Bonaventure is still his top choice.
"St. Bonaventure is still my top school," he said. "I'm not really looking at any other schools and haven't had any calls yet. I'm just going to see what happens during prep school."
Carter, who averaged 18 points and five assists per game this year, is considering Winchendon and Brewster Academy.
