Change of plans for Goodman

Due to an assistant coaching change on the Georgetown staff, 2012 prospect Jordan Goodman is no longer pledged to the Hoyas.
Goodman, a 6-foot-8, 190-pound forward, committed to Georgetown primarily because of his relationship with assistant coach David Cox. Now that Cox has joined Mike Rice's new staff at Rutgers, chances are strong that Goodman will follow him to Rutgers.

"Jordan wants to back out and has decommitted," said Goodman's high school coach Renard Phillips of Temple Hills (Md.) Progressive Christian Academy. "I'm pretty sure he is going to follow Coach Cox. He was the one who got him to Georgetown. They have a really good relationship and have known each other for a while."
Coach Phillips also expects Goodman to change high schools as well.
