Change Of Plans For Al Horford

Al Horford was scheduled to take an official visit to Kansas during the weekend of Midnight Madness, but it looks like he might be having second thoughts. The 6-foot-8, 211-pound power forward from Grand Ledge High School in Grand Ledge, MI., is now thinking about officially visiting the Florida Gators during their Midnight Madness, which is scheduled for October 17.
“Coach Self is coming in for an in-home visit on Tuesday, so I will talk with him about my visit to Kansas and see if I can move it up a week,” Horford said. “I haven’t made a definite decision about this, but I might have to make some changes when it comes to the dates of my official visits.

“I had originally planned on visiting Kansas during Midnight Madness, but I’m thinking about visiting Florida during that time,” he added. “I will talk with Coach Self on Tuesday and see if I can reschedule my visit to October 10.”
Kansas is not the only school making an appearance at the Horford household on Tuesday.
“UCLA will also be coming here for their in-home visit,” Horford said. “I haven’t set-up an official visit to UCLA and I don’t know when that will happen, but I do know that the coaching staff will be here on the same day as Kansas.”
Rivals.com ranks Horford No. 89 on the Rivals150 list and the 26th best power forward in the class of 2004.
