Chadd Moore Is In The Penthouse

Any young man who moves away from home to the sticks of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia to play at Oak Hill Academy will have an adjustment to make. It's books and basketball only at Oak Hill Academy. But many successful students and athletes have graduated from this fine institution.
Chadd Moore was one of those players/students that first had trouble making the switch from his home state of Alabama to the Virginia based high school. "He struggled early on," said Oak Hill head coach Steve Smith. "I told him he went from the doghouse to the penthouse. He has been one of our best players for the past couple of months."

Moore, who signed with Cincinnati, made the adjustment about two months into his experience at Oak Hill. And he continues to build up the positive experience. "He has been shooting the ball well for us," Smith said. "He passes the ball well. He does a good job running the offense when we need him to do that."
Smith believes Moore, 6-1, will end up being a very good college player for Cincinnati. "He gets everyone involved in the game," Smith said. "When you need him to score he can do that too. He has done a great job for us the past couple of months."
