Chadd Moore (right), a 6-1 guard from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA, has looked extremely sharp so far in the early portion of his senior campaign, according to head coach Steve Smith.

Moore, who signed with Cincinnati, is one of the top point guards in the class of 2002. "Chadd has looked great coming off the bench for us," Smith said. "When we need more quickness we can go with a three guard offense. I will use Chadd with Eric (Wilkins) and Justin (Gray). They work well together."
Moore had verbally committed to Cincinnati back on August 13th. "They have themselves a fine player," Smith said. "Chadd has gained a lot of confidence since he has been here."
Last year Moore played at Lee High School in Huntsville, Alabama. Moore can rotate the ball effectively in a motion offense and at times can drop down the jumper. "He sees the floor real well," Smith said. "But he can shoot it too. He has done an excellent job for us. He has fit in with the other guys real well."
Smith said it's hard to use Moore in the starting lineup. "He's played so well that it's really hard to not give him more minutes," Smith said. "I have a feeling he is going to be getting more minutes if he plays the way he has been."
Moore will be one of the featured players at this Saturday's DeMatha Invitational at the University of Maryland.
