You know who is hot on the recruiting front? Donnie Jones and UCF.
Yesterday, UCF landed in-state 2015 four-star Alex Owens. Today, they landed another four-star junior in Corey Sanders.
From the sounds of it, the Golden Knights have yet another junior four-star from the Sunshine State in their sights but let's focus on the two that they have landed first.
Owens, a product of Orlando (Fla.) Oak Ridge who currently ranks No. 71 nationally, is a powerfully built 6-foot-8 power forward. The big man is an animal on the glass, doesn't mind contact and has the game to develop into a pretty reliable scorer as well.
In Sanders, UCF has landed one of the most exciting playmakers in the country regardless of class. Ranked No. 76 nationally, the 6-foot-1 floor general is a high flyer and flashy ball handler who can make defenders look silly via the dribble.
Those two alone are a great start to UCF's 2015 recruiting efforts. However, the latest buzz has them emerging as a real possibility for No. 56 Antonio Blakeney, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard who attends Oak Ridge with Owens.
Previously, Blakeney has been considered a lean to Florida but there has been more and more talk of him being open.
Regardless of whether or not UCF can add Blakeney to the fold, the Knights' 2015 class is off to a great start.
