Cartier Martin Has 3 Top Schools

Cartier Martin, a 6-7, 200 pound small forward from Aldine Nimitz H.S. in Houston, Tex., has three colleges atop his list this summer.
Martin, who plays with David Salinas' talented Houston Select program, told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that Kansas State, Oklahoma and Texas are currently in the lead for his services.

In addition to the trio, Martin said he is also hearing from Illinois, N.C. State, Texas Tech, Houston and Arkansas.
Martin said he has been offered scholarships thus far by Illinois, N.C. State, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech and Houston.
Martin was invited to the adidas ABCD Camp in New Jersey this past week, but he declined an invitation so that he could attend summer school classes. He was invited and attended the camp as a rising junior last year.
Martin visited Kansas State officially in the spring, and he said he plans to take an unofficial trip to Texas in early August when the hectic July evaluation period abates.
After the Great American Shootout, Martin is expected to travel with Select to its last two tournaments of the summer -- the Jerry Mullen H.S. Tournament in Shawnee, Kan., as well as the AAU Nationals in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
We will have a reporter on scene at the latter, so we'll keep you abreast of any changes to Martin's list in the weeks to come.
