Carolina wing will stay home

As it turns out, Greg McClinton won't be leaving home for long.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., McClinton will be spending his senior year at Chatham (Va.) Hargrave. Thanks to his Monday decision to attend Wake Forest, he'll be back within a year.

"I grew up a Wake kid and it's always been a dream of mine," McClinton told Rivals.com. "It's always good to be able to play in front of my family and be close to home."
"I decided last night when I was talking to my mom and it just felt like the right decision."
An athletic 6-foot-6 wing, McClinton definitely gives Wake another wing athlete who can slash to the rim in transition.
While he knows his athleticism will allow him to contribute immediately, McClinton will be working on two areas of his game before making his way back to Wake.
"My athleticism as a player is my strength," said McClinton. "I feel like my shooting and strength needs to improve."
