Carmelo Anthony All Set For Oak Hill Academy

He is one of the most exciting offensive players in the class of 2002. And what a joy it is to watch him play. And Oak Hill Academy head coach Steve Smith has the opportunity to watch him score points this winter for yet another powerful Warriors team.
"He is all set for us," Smith told us. "He's a great player. It's going to be fun to watch him play for us. We have been lucky to have great offensive players on our team. He is another one."

Anthony, 6-7, 190 pound swingman, also plays for one of the best AAU coaches in the country in Joe Connelly of the Baltimore Blue.
"Carmelo is a great player who can score from anywhere on the court," Connelly told us. "He does so many great things whether in getting to the basket or shooting the jumper."
Anthony has already committed to the Syracuse program and he should fit in nicely with Billy Edelin and Gerry McNamara (his future teammates).
Anthony had received previous serious interest from North Carolina, Maryland, Villanova, and Virginia.
Anthony is scheduled to participate in the NBA camp in DC and the Nike camp this summer.
