Carl Elliott Has Four Offers

Carl Elliott, a strong 6-3, 190 pound point guard from Trinity Pawling H.S. in Pawling, N.Y., recently took an official visit to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis.
Elliott, who impressed the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com quite a bit back in December at the New York City Boys Club Tournament, tripped to Marquette from March 1-3, according to Trinity Pawling Head Coach Bill Casson.

Casson said that Marquette hasn't offered Elliott yet, but that the rock solid floor general has offers on the table from Hampton, Rhode Island, Hofstra and Manhattan. Texas A&M, which is looking for help at the point guard slot, also came in to look at Elliott this season but has yet to offer.
Elliott, who also played football for TP in the fall, took an official recruiting visit to UMass for that sport several months ago. However, Casson said that Elliott plans on concentrating on hoops at the college level.
Elliott averaged 15 points, seven assists and five steals per game for Trinity Pawling this season. TP was eliminated from the NEPSAC Class B quarterfinals last Wednesday by eventual tournament champion Storm King.
"Carl is physical and fast, and he's a tenacious defender," Casson said. "He needs to work on his outside shot."
What we liked best about Elliott's game in December was his deliberate style and patience at the point. He knows where to find people and generally makes very good decisions with the basketball.
