Capital Classic News - Lorenzo Miles

Lorenzo Miles, a 5-11, 170 pound point guard for Gonzaga College High School -- the Washington, DC City Champions, has committed to Niagara College. According to the Washington Post, Miles chose the Calvin Murphy school over Towson and Coastal Carolina.
Miles will be competing in the 6:00 p.m. opening game of the Jordan Capital Classic at the MCI Center on Thursday, April 17th, 2003. more

Miles averaged 11.5 points this past season as he led the Eagles, first to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) title, and then to the City Title with a 68-46 win over Dunbar HS, led by South Carolina bound Tre Kelley, another Capital Classic participant. Miles was named the Most Valuable Player in that game.
