Cameron Benison No Longer At Globe Tech

Cameron Benison, a well built 6-4, 220 pound swingman from New York, N.Y., is no longer at Globe Tech in New York, N.Y.
Benison, who played at Our Savior New American School in Long Island last year, started out the year at Ventura J.C. in California. However, he was only out there a short time before returning east.

The next time that JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com saw Benison in action was at the Charlie Weber Tournament in College Park, Md., where he played with the Student Athlete Broncos.
Shortly thereafter, Benison enrolled at Globe Tech, but played in just three games for the Knights, averaging 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest.
Benison is a tremendous physical specimen and athlete who is very strong around the basket with a solid short-midrange perimeter game.
Coach Wilcox said that Benison was dismissed from Globe for academic reasons. He said he was uncertain where Benison would go next, but said he heard a rumor that he might be headed to Pensacola J.C. in Florida.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com will try to confirm Benison's whereabouts in the coming weeks.
