California big man will decide on Thursday

The recruitment of Angelo Chol will come to an end Thursday afternoon.

Ranked No. 75 nationally in the 2011 Rivals150, the senior at San Diego (Calif.) Hoover is the nation's top remaining unsigned big man.

Standing 6-foot-8, Chol is a long and athletic post player who excels at blocking shots on the defensive end. He is the all-time national record holder in career blocked shots, second all-time in the state of California in rebounds and is just 39 points shy of scoring 2,000 during a productive high school career.

Chol had been down to five schools, but the four-star eliminated Washington and Alabama on Tuesday night, leaving a final three of Arizona, Kansas and North Carolina. The announcement will be made during an afternoon press conference at his school.
