Cali SF returns from Wyoming

While still waiting on a ruling about his high school eligibility, the recruiting of Nick Young of Reseda, California continues at a steady pace.
RivalsHoops.com caught up with the 6-foot-6 inch small forward as he exited the plane while returning from an official visit to Wyoming.

The Los Angeles City Section recently ruled that Young would be ineligible for his senior season this Fall citing a rule which limits eligibility to eight semesters after a student-athlete enrolls in the ninth grade. Young has appealed the decision. This apparent setback seemingly has not affected his recruiting. At least, not much.
Young is hearing from Santa Clara, Colorado St., Long Beach St., and Wyoming among other schools. He visited Wyoming this past weekend and was offered a scholarship pending the outcome of his appeal.
Nick says he is wide open and will make a decision soon after the case involving his eligibility is settled.
“If I can’t play my senior season, I will go to a JC or prep school," said Young.
Indeed, several schools have indicated that they will continue to recruit him wherever he ends up.
A versatile athlete with good ball skills to go along with size on the wing, Young averaged 26 points and 10 rebounds per game for Grover Cleveland HS his junior season.
Young is a member of the Pump N Run club team which will compete in the Big Time and Best of the Summer tournaments next month. He will also participate in the Pump West Coast All-Star and Nike All-American camps.
