Calhoun Visits Alexander Johnson

Despite a report stating that one of the top players in the 2003 class was down to two schools, the impact recruit is sitting down today with Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun. Alexander Johnson, a top 25 player in the 2003 class, is expected to discuss his process with the Connecticut head coach today at Bridgton Academy in Maine, where Johnson has spent the past year shaping his academic and athletic future.
The report in an Albany, Georgia newspaper did quote Johnson as saying he was down to two schools -- Florida State and Cincinnati. Johnson has praised both trips to RivalsHoops.com. It's also known that Johnson likes the southern part of the country. So it will be a difficult task for Calhoun and Connecticut anyway to land such a player like Johnson. However, as of this report, Johnson is still scheduled to visit Connecticut.

Indiana has also been mentioned but aren't listed among his top two, according to the report.
Johnson is possibly the best remaining player left in the 2003 class that can make an immediate impact for a college or university in the 2003-2004 season.
