Cal lands Rivals150 wing

Sunday turned out to be a very good day for Cuonzo Martin and his California Bears as they played their final home game of the 2014-15 season.

First they got a senior day win over Oregon State and they followed that up by landing a commitment from Rivals150 small forward Davon Dillard before he returned home from his weekend official visit to Berkeley.
A native of Indiana who is playing his senior season at Centereach (N.Y) Our Savior, Dillard is a 6-foot-5 small forward who currently ranks No. 133 in the class of 2015.
One of the more athletic wings in the class of 2015, Dillard fits the mold of the type of player that Martin has always liked. Not only is he athletic, he is strong and tough and seems to thrive in games that involve physicality.
Dillard is at his best performing in transition and on aggressive straight line drives to the bucket. He scores at the rim, has developed good pull-up jumper and is working to upgrade his overall ball handling and jump shooting from deep. Because of his strength, athleticism and toughness, Dillard is a very good rebounder for a wing and he has all of the tools to develop into a lock down defender when he arrives in the Pac 12.
Dillard was one of three very important visitors this weekend as he joined five-star big men Ivan Rabb and Caleb Swanigan who were also taking in festivities throughout the course of the weekend.
With Dillard on board, Cal is now on the board for the class of 2015.
