Cal Adds Highly Regarded Guard

Ayinde Ubaka, a 6-3, 188 pound point guard from Oakland (CA) High School, has committed to the California Bears, according to a recent report by our affiliate NorCalPreps.com.

Ubaka was also being recruited by Colorado State, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, UCLA, Washington and Xavier. RivalsHoops.com's number 41 player in the class of 2003 averaged 23 points, eight assists, and eight rebounds per game last season. Next fall, he'll be joining Leon Powe, another Oakland prep who earlier picked California.
