Cain Slices List To Nova UVA

Many high majors started to recruit Jason Cain, a mobile and athletic 6-9, 203-pound combo forward from John Bartram H.S. in Philadelphia, Penn., in the winter. Cain had an outstanding senior year and motivated many college recruiters into offering scholarships and official visits.
"I visited Virginia this past weekend," Cain said. "I had a great time there. The whole overall trip went well. Elton Brown (Virginia center) took me around. I got a chance to meet the players too. It was the first time I had seen the campus."

Cain said Virginia plans on utilizing him at a couple of positions. "I can spot up and face the basket," Cain said. "I can also go inside and help out. I can be an inside-outside guy. Virginia told me this is how they see me in their program."
Cain mainly played center on his high school team this past season. But he has proven he can face the basket and score too. Previously, Cain had taken visits to UNC-Greensboro and Penn State. He also mentioned previous interest in Utah and Indiana. "I am down to Virginia and Villanova," Cain said. "I want to take a visit to Villanova next before I decide."
When asked if this visit would take place in the next couple of weeks, Cain responded: "I want to visit as soon as possible. Then I want to make a decision."
Villanova has already met with Cain and is in the process of setting up a visit. It's likely Cain will take his trip soon. Cain has already qualified academically too.
