BYU lands big man
BYU picked up its first commitment from the 2009 class with a pledge from Nate Austin of Highland (Utah) Lone Peak High School.
According to Austin's travel team coach Dave Hammer of the Salt Lake Metro basketball club, Austin, a 6-foot-9 power forward chose BYU over recruiting interest from Boise State, Fresno State, Stanford, Utah and Utah State.
